Icon monthly agency retainer, payable 3 months in advance

US $250.00 / month
 

The retainer is paid every 3 months in advance and can be cancelled at anytime. The reason the retainer is paid every 3 months is it takes time for us to establish the right contacts for you. We have to do a lot of research into finding customers who are right for your products or suppliers producing the right products you want to buy. We don't make any money out of the retainer we make our money on the commissions.

The retainer is used to part cover the operational costs associated with running your account its contributes to paying for administration staff to research potential customers and suppliers for you, it includes some of the marketing costs to promote your products globally through a variety of methods and agents where possible to visit potential customers and suppliers at the companies location. It also helps towards the costs to visit trade shows to sell or source for you.

Icon acts as an extension to your buying and sales department you are engaging a team of experts to represent you. Imagine the cost of employing us directly? Professional consultants, sales and marketing executives, buyers and sourcing experts with extensive knowledge of local markets in many countries, administration and research staff all who demand high western salaries. Hopefully you will agree US$ 250.00 per month is incredible value for money.

The Gold Service also includes full sales and marketing services whereas standard only has a limited sales services.

All commissions are lower in our Gold Service compared to our Standard Service.

If you want us to deal with your existing customers and suppliers we can do at a lower commission rate. We can represent you and try to sell more products to your existing customers or try to negotiate better prices, delivery and oversee your existing orders with suppliers.

International sales and marketing services

We will identify potential customers in any country you wish to sell too, we can promote your products worldwide if you want no problem. This includes email marketing campaigns our contacts database has over 90,000 companies (see Contacts Database on our website) for full details of which country they are in and their main market

We will contact trade associations and buying groups to promote your products. We will market your products on any relevant B2B websites (example Alibaba) which we think will benefit you, we will meet potential buyers at any trade shows we visit and discuss your products if suitable, follow up any inquiries by our telesales team and where possible sales agents will visit potential overseas buyers who are interested in your products at their workplace.

We will also add up to 100 of your products to our product directory, where buyers will be able to view and inquire about your products.

We will offer advise on any trade magazines or exhibitions we thing you should consider advertising in or exhibiting at to increase your exposure in the countries you are targeting. We can then place the advert for you (you pay cost of advert) and handle all the responses for you. Organise any trade show overseas you want to exhibit at, and where possible our sales agents will sell on the stand / booth for you. (You pay all costs of exhibition)

We can represent you and sell to any existing customers or sales leads if you want us to, and organise shipping of any orders if needed. If you exhibit yourself we will also attend your trade stand / booth and help you sell to all visitors (subject to availability and location).

As we are acting as your sales agent we will handle all communications and orders for you with buyers we introduce and keep in regular contact with your new customers. We will keep you updated regularly to what is happening.

We keep repeating this process each month to find you more customers.

International sourcing and buying services

We will source products for you worldwide and include our standard quality control service. When we identify or are offered suitable new products we present them to you and discuss their suitability in matching to your requirements. You receive an update of any new products we source or are offered before any buyer using our standard service. So if you require some products to be exclusive to you, our Gold Service is your best option.

We can organise and escort you on any buying trips or visit exhibitions (subject to availability and location). If you wish we can also represent you and oversee any orders with existing suppliers and can organise shipping of any orders too.

We visit and source at many international trade shows we will look for exhibitors matching your requirements and advice you of any suitable products at each show. This important service ensures you are keeping up to date with the latest trends.

As we act as your buying agent we will negotiate directly with suppliers to get you the best possible deal. We will handle all communications and orders for you with suppliers we introduce and keep in regular contact with your new suppliers to ensure you continually receive the best possible service.

Our aim is to build a long term relationship with you and act as your buying and sales agents for many years.

OK What Next?

You need to complete our online agency agreement. Once we receive your completed online agreement and first retainer payment we will send you an email with all the contact information you need from us, including who is your account manager. We will email  within 24 hours to arrange a convenient time to telephone to discuss your companies requirements and explain our services in detail or if you prefer this can be done using Yahoo, MSN Messenger Skype or by email. This initial conversation will take place in English and normally will take about 30 - 60 minutes.

This agreement is non exclusive and does not tie you to us except with the companies we introduce to you.

The agreement is a legal document and so written in legal English by our lawyers. It can be a little confusing for you if you are not a native English speaker. So we have prepared a simple explanation of the contract so you can understand it. Our CEO is from the United Kingdom and even he prefers the simple version.
